Heat (or cooling) that has no – or very little – value in one place, becomes highly valuable by being transported to a place where it is needed.

District heating is the system that takes care of this value creation. Heated or cooled water is used as a means of transportation. And since the heating of buildings is the largest consumer of energy in the world, district heating is a highly effective way to preserve resources.
